DAY 20: Noraebang at Sinchon

Today was the day of our Korean speaking and writing test. I was on at 2.15pm and within 5 minutes, it was the end of our Korean classes for the program.

Then, obviously, to celebrate, we had bingsoo at Solbing again, this time with Becky, Suikii and Peishan along with the usual SG group.

Since we had 2 music-majoring girls with us (Peishan and Suikii!!), we 'forced' them to play some music for us on the piano that sits along the main Sinchon street, which conveniently also came with sheet music. It was then that it started snowing again:') and we joked that Suiki's playing brought on the snow. It was such a beautiful sight.. but freezing cold though.

A group of us then went for karaoke (noraebang): Cornelius, Ellin, Genevieve, Dickson, Suiki, Peishan, Eugene and later, Ming Xuan. It cost about 40,000W I think for 1-2hrs (there's a timer on the corner of the TV screen that counts down, and we got an extra 30mins or so at the end!). I think it was 1000W for a cup that entitled you for a free flow of drinks, so a few of us got that option and we just shared the (fizzy) drinks. It was good fun ;)

We then went for dinner at a place in Sinchon where we had jjimdak, which is a braised chicken and cheese dish. It was pretty alright. I was the impromptu translator for the meal so I was a little stressed out hehe.

And to top the night off, it was snowing when we came out. *bliss* We then all went to Grand Mart (see Day 19) to stock up on cheap snacks.
